Norwich City 1-2 Arsenal

November 20th, 2011

Yet another victory by the Gunners keeps us in track of top-4 hunt.

Persie’s pair of goals in 37th and 59th minute of the game cancelled out Mertesacker’s fault in the 14th minute.

Overall, we did well; We controlled the game 99% of the time and we seriously deserved a better victory margin. We had like 20 attempts and 14 on-target shots while Norwich had only 7 attempts and 4 on-target shots But again, I’m glad that we come home with another three precious points in hand. The second best thing is we don’t have any more players in our injury list.

On a criticism side, we need to improve our defense. Mertesacker’s fault in 14th minute would have stuck in our memory like a nightmare had we scored a goal less.

Our victory will cash out a promotion in BPL rankings should Liverpool lose to Chelsea in Stamford Bridge today. But I prefer Liverpool to win although they are the underdog in this match. Chelsea is more consistent than Liverpool, but the ball is round so it’s hard to give a concrete prediction on who’s gonna win this game. I too didn’t expect the boys to beat the Blues so handsomely few weeks back.
