Since there’s no match until this weekend,I will post some news that I have some comments on.
Persie will miss the majority of the rest of this season.
“If you are very positive you would say [he'll be back in] April,” said the Frenchman. “If you’re a bit cautious you say May. It is virtually the rest of the season.
“Personally I thought let’s put in my head that he will not play again this season and hope that I will have a good surprise.
I think Wenger asks us to forget about him this season. If Persie manages to play towards the end of this season, that’s a plus for us.If not,it’s OK.Although this fact is cruel for us,it has already happened and mourning about it is like crying over spilled milk. We’re used to players’ injuries anyway. We always get our players injured in season’s climax.
“It is crazy. When you’re in a situation where you’ve been given a job to do and you’ve been given money, that’s fine. But because you’ve been given money, it doesn’t mean you’re going to win the next game 6-0, it just doesn’t happen.
“In any other industry you’d be given time to do the job.But football is not like any other industry and more so than ever before, you have less time than ever. There’s less patience around.
There’s a lot of impatience among the club owners. They give managers money, and they expect the manager to win every games in the season.Money is something, but it’s not everything.Money is just one of the ingredients for success in football;you need patience, time and a lot of thing to be successful.
However,Mark Hughes is not the man to manage a big team like Man. City.He needs more experience to manage such teams. His purchase of Bellamy,Adebayor and Robinho was a mistake, and it’s a costly one. These three players are good, but they don’t worth hundreds of pounds.A manager can’t spend all of his club’s money to get a player just because he likes that player.
Thankfully,Arsenal owner is more patient and Wenger don’t spend unnecessarily. That’s why we are still fine today.Although we won nothing in last four years,we managed to stay in top four and kept growing with limited resources.
