Celtic 0-2 Arsenal : Another good start for Gunners

August 18th, 2009

Celtic:-
Arsenal:Gallas 43, Caldwell 71 (og)

To sum out the result, this is a very good start for us.Is there any injuries??No I would gladly say…

In this game, we showed another type of quality;that was being tough and we could held the initiative from the host.We controlled the game although Celtic gave a good defense and they were good in counter-attack too.

But as usual, we made some mistakes near the end of the game, especially on defense side.We were lucky Celtic did not exploit that profitably.

Overall, all the squad played very well and there were some comments that Bendtner and Walcott did not defend well. But who cares as long as they attacked well.

A boring 0-0 draw brings Devils BPL title

May 16th, 2009

I would like to clarify something about the word “boring” in my title. The match itself was quite exciting but it’s not as exciting as usual Gunners-Devils matches.

Anyway, thumbs up to our players for their solid display throughout the game.At least the 3-1 defeat at our own turf brings some absorbed lessons to our squad. We shared the driving seat with Man United and we reduced a lot of their chances. Our attack was quite well but we did not enough to penetrate solid defence of United.

So,we can conclude that we will have to work much harder to get some silverware next season. We are very close to them this season but it’s very far from us with injuries, lack of experience etc.

Now it’s time to spy for good and experienced players to help our young kids grow and shine in world of football!!

Finally,a victory for us

March 3rd, 2009

West Brom 1-3 Arsenal

West Brom:Brunt 6
Arsenal:Bendtner 4,44 Toure 38

Despite the win and finally we can get our three points in a game,I’m still worried if our player could win our next BPL games. This time,we obviously converted more of our chances into goals.West Brom’s weak defence also contributed to our 3rd goal, which was resulted from failure of West Brom’s defender to stop Sagna’s long pass to Bendtner.

But this time,Bendtner made no mistake to get us cruising safely with our 3rd goal.

But Bendtner certainly need to improve his ball control and finishing quality. His height and playing style suits BPL game style, but I don’t sure if he suits our football style.

Arshavin’s game is clearing improving and hopefully he could soon score a goal for us,to make our 15 million pounds worth and to increase his confidence. He could actually added himself into the scorelist but lady luck seemed to on his groove.

May this win end our miserable run!!

Gunners headed for yet another goaless draw at their home turf.

We did produce some good chances but our finishing lacked a bit.Plus,Fulham goalkeeper did a good job too in contributing to this draw.

Gunners managed to hold on with 10 men

Spurs 0-0 Gunners

Overall,I think it’s a fair result.Although Spurs dominated the game and originated the game, but we too defended well and gave them quite a surprise counter-attack.

However,I must said that Gunners played below average this time. Not poor but below their normal performance.Perhaps three new Spurs players really gave an impression that we played below average.

I’m quite frustrated too Read more…
