If we win this game by two or more goals margin,we will go top of the league for the first time this season. However,it’s easier said than done.

Although we recorded 2-0 win three days ago at Reebok,we actually could end up with a point should Taylor’s finishing was better.

The good things are Denilson and Walcott are fit to return for this game.More men power do help us when we are in hell schedule starting 27th January.Bendtner should recover in 10 days time and that means good news in English.Sol Campbell has yet to make any appearance so far since we resigned him few days back. However,Merida,Ramsey and Nasri are injured for now.Wenger on the other hand admitted that Arsenal hasn’t made any big progress so far in the tranfer window.

That’s forgivable when players at most online betting sites are so expensive today

I hope Traore can be more careful in his passes;I seen he made blunders in past few games that could cost us two or three points in the game.Remember,a goal scored could be a point earned, but a goal conceded could be two points lost.

The odd looks good to us right now; Most betting sites give good odds of Arsenal winning this game.

Hopefully this game wouldn’t be postponed again.Postponement of Arsenal game against Bolton at Grooves adds burden to our already packed and tough schedule. Here’s the fixure of Arsenal’s game between late January and early February:

Aston Villa vs. Arsenal , 27th Jan
Arsenal vs. Man. United 31st Jan
Chelsea vs. Arsenal 7th Feb
Arsenal vs. Liverpool 10th Feb
FA Cup 5th round(we will be restless if we win 4th round and draw tough team) 13rd Feb
Porto vs. Arsenal 17th Jan

There are at least 5 tough matches in 21 days;that’s average of a team for every 4 days.Arsenal’s title credidential will be determined from its performance in these 5/6 games.

So far we are quite fit for this challenge;Fabregas and Clichy have recovered. The period between now and 27th Jan when the “hell schedule” starts is a critical moment since we need to grab enough points to even qualify for this “hell schedule”

I didn’t really expect Arsenal will drop points against Bolton, but I know any team can beat every team nowadays. There’s no more free three points to grab nowadays, apart from Stoke’s game against Man. United.

I’m not sure whether Campbell will feature in this game or not,but I think it’s more probably that Campbell will be on the bench and will feature as substitute if the game requires him to be there.Campbell has been 6 months away from competitive game and he needs more time to gain pace with BPL’s game style.

In a nutshell,we must win this game by hook or by crook. We really can’t afford to slip anymore.

Arshavin will still play despite foot injury

This match is our game in hand in present.Should we win,we will promote to second place and close up the point difference between us and Chelsea to a mere 1 point. That should be enough to make Anchelotti sweat..

Players

Obviously Fabregas is not fit for this match so we can forget about him should we stuggle tonight.Arshavin will still play despite some foot injury on him.Hopefully he will be OK.

However,Denilson is available after recovering from back injury.Hopefully he can bring Fabregas’s role(not as captain) well.He has scored some goals recently especially from free-kick.I anticipate another good play from him.

New manager for Bolton

Owen Coyle is set to be Bolton manager. However,I don’t think he can make any change in this game. He’s new to Bolton and will need sometime to settle himself down.

With a new manager in January,Bolton could be set to buy some players in transfer window.

West Ham vs. Arsenal match preview (FA Cup)

January 2nd, 2010

It’s FA Cup action for our first game in 2010.

This fixture reminds me of our game against Hammers last October, when Hammers came from behind to make it 2-2 and stole our two points.I was so frustrated with the result that I immediately called my father to vent out my frustration.I never did that before.

But with our form in fire, this ending is unlikely although it’s still possible.Although FA Cup is the only silverware reachable by Hammers, but to stay in BPL is much more important than FA Cup bling.Same goes to Gunners;Gunners needs to keep the title challenge and keep track of FA Cup.

Belaguered with club finance problem and poor game record in BPL,Zola must utilize his best resource availiable to make most out of his position.Hammers’ 1-1 draw against Chelsea proved that its players too can produce results if they work hard enough and play smart enough.Arsenal on the other hand is on fire right now;Gunners had already picked up 16 points out of possible 18 and had the best form among the title rivals.Gunners is also the current top scorer team so far;Gunners’ cannon had fired 51 goals in 19 games in BPL and

Wenger will play a mixture of first-teamers and second-teamers;Senderos could feature with Gallas or Vermalen should he pass the fitness test.Rosicky too should play to remove rusts from his legs.

This game will be a tough one as Hammers proved this theory games ago.Hammers’ result against Gunners in Upton park is is quite impressive, and even in games we won,we did fight for them the hard way.

No matter how Gunners fare tomorrow,Arsenal game will be always a game to enjoy and Gunners’ style of play will be always the bragging point if Gooners…..

Can Portsmouth upset on-form Gunners?

Players

Fabregas is definitely out for this match, but Rosicky could make his way to this game after he has recovered from his hamstring injury.

On the other hand,Avram Grant will hope his African players could play this match before they depart for African Nations.

With Villa’s lost against Liverpool,Tottenham and Man. City turn to be our most fierceful tailgator.
