Arsenal For Fans – Gunn them down

After seeing Arsenal’s win against Man. City last weekend,it’s turn to switch to UCL qualifying.Hopefully we didn’t need to play UCL qualifying next season.

Arsenal just need to make sure that they are not conceded more than 2 goals to win the games.Arsenal should head for easy win as they are playing at home.

If Arsenal lost more than two goals to Sparta,then I think Arsenal should be punished by the fans.

Talking about Sparta,they head to Emirates with a win against FK VIctoria,which will strengthen their play in Emirates.

But again and again,if we play our game just like oour last game against Sparta,we will head to UCL Group stage with a 3 to 4-0 against Sparta and I don’t think Arsenal will have a easy draw again just like many years ago.

Strangely,Arsenal was not drawn with a very strong team in UCL group stage.We rarely meet teams like Milan,Inter Milan,Real Madrid etc.Therefore Arsenal could always lead the group easily,except last year when Arsenal just lead the group by 1-2 points.

Arsenal just need to PLAY THEIR GAME AND NOT TO BE OVERCONFIDENT.

Before I talk about England’s national team,let’s talk about our team first.

Much have been said about Gunners are going to be “kicked” out in EPL games before EPL starts.

But Arsenal proved that they are ready for that with their 7 points out of 3 games,which of course sounds better than last season when they only get 4 points out of 3 games;1 win,1 lost and a draw.

But actually I think the “toughness” in EPL is caused by the referees itself.In European leagues such as Primera Liga and Series A,the referees are much more stricter,therefore the “toughness” is reduced and their play is less exciting compared to EPL.I think there are more people especially Asian countries who watch EPL than the other two above.

Same goes to UEFA Champions League/UEFA Cup.The referees are more strict and EPL teams struggle more in European games compared to Spanish clubs or Italian clubs.

England itself did poorly in European games now compared to Spain,Portugal, and others.

I personally think that EPL destroys the England team,because of the following reasons;

1.Too much international players
2.Bad referees
3.No coordination among the players

I will first explain the first reason.In EPL,there are more than 60% of the players who are foreign players.I do admit that Arsenal contribute to this problem,but same goes to other teams like Man. U,Liverpool and Chelsea.

The second problem I already explain just now.

The third problem is from the EPL.I list out some of the England national players here;

1.Rooney-Man. U
2.Terry (C)-Chelsea
3.Lampard-Chelsea
4.Gerrard-Liverpool
5.Robinson(GK)-Tottenham

Let’s see now.The above players are from three EPL clubs.Most of the time they are suited to their manager command(Ferguson,Mourinho and Martin Jol) and very little time is spent on their national team.And sometimes they fight against each other in EPL.I don’t think they can coordinate well in such situation.

But nothing can be done to rectify this problem.EPL has brought fame,money and many more to England and without it,they will have a big problem.

Let’s start with Premiership analysis.Before that,let’s take a look at current Premiership table.

Arsenal has helped Blues to stand on top of the table now.Arsenal,Liverpool,Everton and Wigan is not far away and has one game in hand now.If only Persie can score the penalty against Man. City,Arsenal could probably stand on 4rd place now.Well,Arsenal position has improved compared to last season standing but there’s always some room for improvement.

I recalled back our last season’s memory when we drew with Aston Villa and lost to Man. City because of penalty,but we can beat Man. United 1-0 at Old Trafford which most of the people wouldn’t expect Gunners to win the game;with Man. United with its top form at the time,Arsenal poor start and the game was played at Old Trafford.

This season we beat Man. City on our 3rd game.Talking about Red Devils I would like to comment about Manchester United vs. Tottenham game.

Though Man. United has more chances and more shots than Spurs which has no shot at target for first-half,I think their performance is about the same and I think Man. United has poorer playing style for the beginning of the season(please note this comment is not based on Man. United poor start for the season).Could be the lost of Rooney and Ronaldo affect their way of playing?I think only Sir Alex Ferguson could answer them.

But what separates them is the stunning goal from Nani,which I think saved Man. United from another embarrassment.And I think Man. United isn’t gaining victory from this game,it’s Nani who got the victory instead.

Bolton started to get their EPL campaign right after beating Reading 3-0 at home.

Well,Arsenal managed to stop Man. City from winning four consecutive games in EPL.

I still think Arsenal missed a lot of chances and Man. City defended well as well.Man. City blocked a lot of Gunners shot and they played very politely.But I don’t think they played well.

Why?They have no or little fight to Arsenal.They were playing like a tortoise with its head in its shell.They came to Emirates just to get a point,maintain their unbeaten record and 0 goal record.Well,I think Erikkson used wrong strategy in this game.

About Persie’s missed penalty is nothing to talk about.Penalty is about luck anyway.It depends very little on skills.

I’m happy with Gunners game after Fabregas scored stunning side-kick and break Man. City’s 0 goal record as well as their successive wins in EPL.

As I said before,they maintain their play and Man. City couldn’t do anything to equalize.The last chance by desperate Man City goalkeeper was saved by Almunia.Almunia is free throughout the game and he did less in the game because the game didn’t require him to do so as well.

Arsenal is out to stop Man. City another four consecutive win for this season.

But Gunners will have to play without Lehmann,our first-team goalkeeper who is injured for at least two weeks.(Source:Arsenal.com .Almunia will replace him for this match.

Gallas(groin) and Eboue is out as well and although Gilberto is fit for the game,Wenger would give him a rest because he has played a lot of games in Copa America.Toure would be the captain of the game.

But we are happy to hear that Adebayor is back to the squad and I think our attacking strength would be more stronger this time,though we will have to play without our regular captain.

And Eriksson have something to say about this match.

And I would like to quote some of his comments here

“We are going to go there and we are going to try and play our way. But when you meet teams like Arsenal and Manchester United, you know that you have to defend.

“You need a little bit of luck also, because over 90 minutes, of course you know that they will create some chances – hopefully as few as possible. If you don’t defend well against these teams you have no chance of even getting a draw. Hopefully we will attack a bit better than we did last Sunday.”

Not necessarily Arsenal is going to attack for throughout the game,I think Man. City can create some chances.Is Eriksson is trying to say that Man. City beat Man. United by defending?

About luck,I think it really depends on God.Same goes to Arsenal,if Gunners is not careful,Arsenal will have hard time to save the game.

Again,Arsenal need not fear them.Just play your game properly and you can win them easily.
